Four Tips To Stretch Your Dollars and Get the Most From Your Next Cruise

Tip 2: Premium Cruising for the Luxury Traveler

Are you a traveler with discerning taste? Have you ever been on a trip where you were promised a luxurious experience, but received so-so service and food? It happens and it’s not fun. That’s why it’s important to know what kind of traveler you are. Here’s a story of how knowing the right information can get you the cruise you REALLY want to take.

What Is A Visa

If you haven’t traveled to exotic locations, you may well ask, what is a visa?

The more adventurous you get with your travels, the more you need to know about documentation. You’re getting ready for some adventure. You’ve got your passport…. then someone tells you you might need a visa….

Types of Travel Guidebooks

When you start looking for a travel guidebook, it can be a little bewildering.  There really are as many types of guidebooks as there are types of travelers.  Where do you start to find the right one for you?

Traditional guidebooks make up the largest chunk of your selection… and there are plenty of these.  They usually contain lots of good information, some black and white maps, key areas to see, and diagrams of significant buildings.  You’ll usually find a few color pictures and maps too.

Balance Your Itinerary

When you’re planning what to see on your travels, try to balance your itinerary. When you’re in cities, you want to see museums and churches, but mix it up with outdoor activities and fun things.

There is a long list of cities in Europe that have an abundance of museums and churches. Cities like Rome, Florence, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid… In any one of those cities and others, you could spend all of your time inside looking at “important” art, but you’ll be better off if you balance your itinerary with a walk in the park, window shopping or prowling through flea markets.

Adventure Travel

Lots of magazines and TV shows talk about adventure travel these days. What do they mean by that? I mean, almost any time you travel it can be an adventure. But to say it that way…. adventure travel…. that sounds pretty exciting, doesn’t it?

People travel for all different reasons. Some people like to go every year to the same place… maybe a beach where they can just sit and relax with no worries. Get away from work. Sort of recharge their souls.
