Lufthansa's Private Business Class Flights to Germany... The Most Exclusive "Club" Over the Atlantic!

PrivatAir Jet
Who says good things have to come in big packages? Leave it to Lufthansa to come up with a new recipe for Trans-Atlantic travel; revolutionizing the entire concept of Business Class!

Lease a narrow body jet that normally holds 120 passengers on domestic routes, put in only 48 roomy business class seats, add some long-range fuel tanks and offer the wonderful designer chef menus available on traditional Lufthansa jumbo jet flights and you have the most exclusive "Club" over the Atlantic! It is truly the most civilized way to cross the Atlantic (except, of course, by ocean liner.)

All the wonderful service and attention Lufthansa is famous for is presented in an intimate, private setting. There are no crowds at check-in, during the boarding process, onboard, and best of all, at the end of the flight in baggage claim!

The flights are operated in cooperation with PrivatAir, the Swiss airline renowned for intercontinental VIP service. They provide the aircraft (either a long range Boeing 737 or Airbus 319), the pilots, and cabin crew. Lufthansa provides all ground handling, aircraft maintenance, in-flight amenities, wine and meal service. The Lufthansa all-Business Class flights currently operate from Chicago and Newark to Dusseldorf... and from Newark to Munich. The all-Business Class flights conveniently connect to a myriad of Lufthansa flights throughout Germany and Europe.

Business Lounge Staff Dusseldorf
The in-flight experience is a treat! There are so many Cabin attendants you really are made to feel like a VIP throughout the flight. Each guest receives a personal video player with a choice of 15 first run movies, a generous amenity kit and menus influenced by some of the great chefs in Europe and North America. Our flights featured recipes created for Lufthansa Business Class by Thomas Keller, proprietor of The French Laundry in Napa Valley and Ralf Kutzner, the Executive Chef at Dresden's trendy Bulow Residenz.

We enjoyed Chef Kutzner's wonderful Potato Tartlet with roasted vegetables in a delicious Tomato Coulis. Chef Keller's Herb crusted Medallions of Lamb was just as enticing. Along with several hearty German beers, the wine cellar included a delightful Riesling, as one would expect, along with several wines from Spain, Italy and France.

Fine Wines
Desserts included a Lemon tart with Honey-flavored Mascarpone in a pine nut crust and a Bavarian Chocolate Mousse.

As one fellow traveler commented, "I applaud Lufthansa for their innovative approach to providing such an intimate and superior quality Business Class. I will go out of my way to use their all-Business Class PrivatAir flights to Europe whenever I can."

Lufthansa's exclusive all-Business Class flights to Germany certainly prove, in a big way, that "less is more!"
